A brief slide show of me in Paraguay and Food
Process ¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to your page on Paraguayan food! I am sure most of you haven't ever tried a Paraguayan dish or even heard of Paraguay. You are going to learn about the food from Paraguay, along with a little culture. Hopefully it is going to be fun, interesting and educational. This activity will demonstrate that many countries have different and interesting foods. Also, the students will learn about another countries culture. Vamos a empezar ya.
TaskYou will research food and culture of Paraguay. Choose a variety of entrees, desserts, drinks and other related foods. Reasearch these foods, find out what the ingredients are, what they look like and how hard they would be to make. Your objective will be to create a Paragauyan restaurant menu. On the menu you need to include appetizers, main entrees, dessert, beverages and other dishes. Under each of these headings there needs to be a minimum of three foods and drinks, along with a description of each. Also, the entire menu must be done in Spanish and you need to include the prices in dollars and guarani (the money of Paraguay)! ¿Estan listos?
Task #1First, begin by researching the culture of Paraguay. The below sites discuss the culture of Paraguay, their tranquilidad, meeting and greeting, and dinner and entertainment. Think about the differences and similiarities between your culture and their culture. After reading the sites, answer the three following questions en espanol on a piece of paper. When you are done turn in the paper to me.
