Being a member of a math committee and selecting mathematicians to be in the “Math Hall of Fame” should have given you the opportunity to learn about many different mathematicians throughout history.  You have learned about some of the influences mathematicians have had on current mathematics and hopefully have gained a better appreciation for mathematics and the complex art that it is.
