You have each been assigned to a group of four members.  In order to complete this task, you will be required to research one of the given topics on your own.  As a group, you decide who wants to do which topic before you get started.  After you have completed your research, you will then be given an opportunity to share all of your gained knowledge with your group.  There will be required information given to you regarding your specific topic.  When you have completed the required research, you will meet together as a group and share with each other what you have learned.  You will have two days to complete this part of the assignment.
        After you have completed your findings and have discussed them within your group, we will meet together and have a game show activity between each of the groups.  This part of the activity will reinforce the knowledge that you have gained through your team research effort.  In order to perform well at this game, you will have needed to do all of the required research as well as reading all of the optional reading information from the web.
       When we have finished the game, we will have a question and answer session for each of you to voice your own opinions about computers as well as answer any remaining questions you may have.  I hope that you will really enjoy this activity and learn more about the computer world.
       The final part of this activity will include each of your groups building a computer from scratch.  Each of you will have the opportunity to purchase your own components if you would like.  If no one in your group will be purchasing their own computer, you will be assigned a classroom computer to rebuild and troubleshoot any problems.
