StarChild Question of the Month for June 2001

Not a question, just something to think about..

I was going to answer a question about the shape of the universe this month, but it will have to wait. Instead, I'd like to write about the StarDog character found throughout this site. He was based on my best friend, Oppy. You could find Oppy's picture whenever you selected the link to my name on the bottom of each page. He was the better of my parts, and if I had to be known for something, I would chose being his mom. He was my friend, my inspiration, and my touchstone for remembering to find joy in everything. A good lesson for us all to consider this month. Next month will be time enough to deal with the shape of the universe.

The StarChild site is a service of the High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC), Dr. Alan Smale (Director), within the Astrophysics Science Division (ASD) at NASA/GSFC.
