The back of the poster briefly explains how the processes illustrated on the front result in common chemical elements. This CD-ROM contains four astronomy education web sites captured in January of 2007. This 2 disc set provides information, beautiful images, and learning adventures for all ages and grade levels. Included are (links are to the actual websites):
- Starchild - general astronomy for grades K-8
- Imagine the Universe! - exotic objects and topics in our universe for grades 7 and up.
- Astronomy Picture of the Day - beautiful images and explanations for all ages.
- Cosmicopia - cosmic rays, space weathers, and related Q&A and history.
The materials will work in any commonly used web browser on both Macintosh and Windows operating systems. When using these files, no internet connection is needed. Each CD has been saved as a .zip archive. These are large downloads, which may take several hours depending on the speed of your internet connection.
